1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and using ShortMyLink.in ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. ShortMyLink.in cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against abuse. You agree NOT to shorten links to websites containing:
- Phishing, malware, trojans, or viruses.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — Violators will be immediately reported to authorities.
- Terrorist propaganda, hate speech, or harassment.
- Bot traffic, faucet scripts, or automated click-generation tools.
Note on Adult Content: Adult content (18+) is permitted strictly in accordance with Indian laws. You must label such links appropriately. We reserve the right to ban any content at our sole discretion.
4. Payments & Inactivity
4.1 Payment Thresholds
Publishers are eligible for payouts once their account balance reaches $5.00. Payments are processed via UPI, Bank Transfer, or PayPal.
4.2 Traffic Verification
We reserve the right to hold payments for up to 30 days to verify traffic quality. Traffic generated by bots, proxies, or VPNs will not be paid.
4.3 Account Dormancy & Dead Account Policy
To maintain system efficiency, we enforce a two-tier inactivity policy based on your login history:
- Tier 1: The "One-Time User" (6 Months)
If your account is inactive (not logged in) for more than 6 months, your pending balance will be forfeited. Your account remains accessible, and your shortened links will remain live and functioning.
- Tier 2: The "Dead Account" (1 Year)
If your account is inactive for more than 1 year, it will be classified as a "Dead Account".
- Any remaining wallet balance is permanently forfeited.
- Your links will remain LIVE (we do not break your links).
- Your account will be locked. To use the service again, you must undergo Reactivation Verification by contacting support.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
1. Data Fiduciary
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), ShortMyLink.in operates as a Data Fiduciary. By using our service, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described below.
2. Information We Collect
- Publisher Data: Name, Email address, Payment details (UPI/Bank), and hashed passwords.
- Visitor Data: IP address, Browser type (User-Agent), Operating System, and Referring URL.
3. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies
We use third-party advertising partners, including but not limited to Adsterra, to serve ads when you visit our shortened links. These companies may use cookies to collect non-personal information to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
4. Data Storage & Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption and database hashing. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
5. User Rights (India & GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data.
- Request correction of your payment details.
- Request erasure of your account (subject to fraud checks).
